This site is operated by Makasa Corporation, trading as Makasa.ai. Where these terms say "we" or "us," that is the company.
An introduction to what we do and a way to get in touch. Nothing on it is an offer capable of acceptance, a quote, or professional advice. Prices shown describe our standard packaging and the number that binds either of us is the one in a signed engagement document.
Work we do for you runs under its own written agreement covering scope, price, timing, confidentiality, data handling and ownership. Where that agreement and these terms disagree, that agreement wins.
Our guarantee is stated plainly on the site: if a paid assessment does not give you something worth acting on, we return the fee in full. It applies to paid assessments only, and to the assessment fee rather than to any build that follows. It is claimed by telling us, and we do not run a process around it.
The content and design of this site belong to us. What we build for you under an engagement belongs to you as that engagement's agreement sets out, including the plain-English documentation, which is yours to keep and to hand to somebody else.
The systems we build connect to software you already use. Those services have their own terms and their own availability, and we are not responsible for what they do or fail to do. We will tell you which ones a build depends on before we build it.
This site is offered as-is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and continued use of the site after that means the updated terms apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
