The full assessment · $1,000

An hour on your business, and a plan anyone could run.

One hour, live, with someone who has spent thirty years finding where work gets stuck. Not a form, not an AI, and not a junior consultant with a template.

Not ready to book? Just ask us a question or call (737) 325-1450.

If it doesn't give you something worth acting on, we return the fee in full.

What you get

Five things, and you keep all of them.

Everything below is written in plain English and belongs to you.

An hour with someone who has done this for thirty years.

Live, on a call, about how the work actually moves through your business rather than how the org chart says it does. That gap is where most of the time goes, and you only find it by asking.

Your operation, written down.

What comes in, what happens to it, who touches it, and where it waits. Most owners have never seen theirs on one page.

Three to seven opportunities, with hours and dollars attached.

Not a maturity score and not a list of technologies. Specific work that is costing you specific time, with the number written next to it so you can argue with it. Where a tool is the answer, we name it, price it, and link it, and we say when the tool is the wrong answer.

The order to do them in.

Sequenced by what pays back soonest and what has to happen before something else can. Knowing what to do second is worth as much as knowing what to do first.

A walkthrough call, and 30 days of email access.

We go through it together rather than emailing you a PDF, and you can ask follow-up questions for a month afterwards.

What makes it worth paying for

You could hand it to somebody else and it would still work.

The assessment is not a sales document with our name written through it. It is a plan for your business, in language your own people can follow. Give it to your team, give it to another firm, or act on it yourself, and it does not stop being useful the moment we're not in the room.

Most assessments in this market are shaped to make the next purchase inevitable. That is why so many of them end up in a drawer: the moment you decide not to buy, the document has no other use.

We'd rather sell you the hour and let the work earn the rest.

How it runs

Paid first, then booked. Here's why.

You pay, then you pick a time. That order is deliberate and it's fair to say so.

1

You pay for the hour.

An hour of preparation and an hour on the call, then the writing afterwards. Booking it costs us the day whether or not the meeting happens, which is the whole reason the money comes first.

2

You pick a time that suits you.

The scheduler opens as soon as payment goes through. Usually within the same week.

3

We spend the hour on your business.

No slide deck about us, no capability overview. Questions about how your work moves, and a lot of listening.

4

You get the written assessment, then a walkthrough.

Written up and sent within three business days, then a thirty-minute call to go through it. Followed by thirty days to ask whatever it raises.

The offer

One price, and it's the whole price.

No retainer, no "starting from," and nothing quoted after the fact.

The full assessment

An hour, a written plan, and a month to ask about it.

$1,000

What's included

  • One hour, live, on how work actually moves through your business.
  • Your operation mapped, on one page, in plain English.
  • Three to seven opportunities, each with the hours and the dollars written next to it.
  • Named tools with prices and links, plus the ones to skip and why.
  • A thirty-minute walkthrough call once you've read it.
  • Thirty days of email access for anything it raises.

What it costs you besides the money

  • Ninety minutes of your time. The hour, then the walkthrough.
  • About a week end to end, most of which is us writing.
  • No homework. Nothing to fill in, nothing to prepare, no data to pull.

What isn't included

  • Nothing gets built. This is the plan, not the work. Most of what's in it you can do yourself.
  • Builds are quoted separately, after you've read the plan and decided you want one.

If it doesn't give you something worth acting on, we return the fee in full. No process, no negotiation.

Four of these run in a week, because the person who asks the questions is the person who writes the answer up.

Our guarantee

If a paid assessment doesn't give you something worth acting on, we return the fee in full. No process, no negotiation.

You're paying before we've met, so the risk should sit with us rather than with you. Tell us and it's refunded.

If you want help afterwards

Optional, quoted separately, and genuinely optional.

Most of what the assessment finds is work you can do yourself, and the plan is written so you can. For the parts worth handing over, here is what that looks like.

Standard systems

Fixed price, running in thirty days

Built from parts we've built before and scoped tightly. Quoted before we start, so the number you hear is the number you pay.

→ A price before a conversation.

Custom engineering

Designed for one business

For work that is genuinely yours, or where compliance and evidence are part of the job. Longer and more expensive, and the right answer when it's the right answer.

→ Scoped from the plan you already have.

Keeping it running

Or handing it back

We keep what we build working as the business changes. Everything is documented in plain English, so you can take it in-house whenever you want to.

→ Yours to keep either way.

The $1,000 comes off the first build you commission within ninety days. Read that as the assessment being free to anyone who goes ahead, and paid for by anyone who doesn't need us.

Before you pay

Two reasons not to book this.

You already know exactly what you want built.

Then don't pay for an assessment to tell you. Describe it and we'll quote it at a fixed price. Send us the details and we'll come back with a number.

Nobody has decided how the work should go.

If the real problem is that the business hasn't settled its own process, an assessment will document the disagreement rather than resolve it. Worth fixing that first, and we'll say so if we see it.

Before you book

The questions people ask about this one.

Why $1,000? Can't I work this out myself?

You can, and some people should. What you're buying is an hour of somebody else's attention on a business you're too close to see, and thirty years of having watched work get stuck in the same few places. Most owners who try it alone get as far as a list of tools and stop, because the hard part isn't finding tools. It's knowing which part of your week is actually costing you money.

What if it tells me things I already knew?

Then you'll have them written down with hours and dollars next to them, in an order, which is usually the thing that was missing. If it genuinely gives you nothing worth acting on, tell us and we return the fee in full.

Do I have to hire you afterwards?

No, and the plan is deliberately written so you don't have to. Most of what it finds is work you or your team can do without us. If you do want something built, it's quoted separately and the $1,000 comes off the first one.

Do I need to be technical?

No. Nothing in the assessment assumes you write code or run software, and the tools we point at are chosen for whether your team will actually use them rather than for what they can theoretically do.

Who is this actually for?

Owners and operators of businesses with real admin volume and nobody internal who handles technology. Engineering and site design practices, licensed trades, professional practices. The industry matters less than the shape of the work: if yours runs on deadlines, documents and follow-up that only happens when somebody chases it, you're the right kind of business.

Why do I pay before we've even spoken?

Because booking the hour costs us the day whether or not you show up, and because we'd rather charge for the hour honestly than give it away and spend it selling. The guarantee is the other half of that: you're paying before we've met, so the risk sits with us.

Still have a question?

Some people want to speak to a person before they spend a thousand dollars, which is fair. Call (737) 325-1450 or send us the question and we'll answer it straight.
